A group of 27 volunteers from the Bleakley Financial Services team put their muscle and heart into homebuilding for Habitat for Newark. On May 11, 2018, the Bleakley staff and advisors split into two groups: the external group that demolished and replaced a new sidewalk and the internal group that worked on sheetrock, painting and trim. In addition, the firm contributed a $10,000 cash donation to Habitat for Humanity-Greater Newark.

Community service has long been a hallmark of Bleakley. For nearly two decades, we have been active in a variety of charitable causes and worthy organizations. The team bonding at Habitat of Greater Newark continued that tradition of commitment to our community.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark (HFH-GN), serving Essex, Hudson and Union Counties, is dedicated to building simple, decent homes for low and moderate-income families in Newark and Essex County, New Jersey.

Nearly 100 families have benefited from HFN-GN homes built with generous donations from individuals, families, corporations, foundations and faith-based organizations and with support from thousands of volunteers and other local non-profit organizations who have partnered with the organization over the years.
